MERIDIAN COMMONS

DENVER, COLORADO

A commercial project of the Denver Tech Center, this 13 acre project was designed to lay the ground work for free standing retail buildings to be constructed over time.  A master plan for building location, orientation and parking location was developed to guide the development.  The site plan integrates requirements of water management and landscape treatment with the fundamental principles of retail design.   While storm water detention areas set the buildings apart from the street it was developed to accommodate regional trail, and enhanced landscape and a foreground from Lincoln Avenue to the building facades.  The guidelines establishes building locations and their relationship to pedestrian connections and allows for significant and appropriate landscape treatments.
